In late September and in early October, I was lucky to have two good friends visit from the USA. Christian had just finished a bike tour in Cataluña and he said that he wanted to extend his Spain vist for a few more days and see some of central Spain.

This is my first Blog post and I am retracing my steps a bit to the beginning of my year here in Spain. I arrived in Madrid on the 24th of July and spent the final week of the month in an Airbnb in the Salamanca neighborhood. I used this week to catch up with friends and to plan out my month of August.
